Skipper Mitchell Santner’s unbeaten 47 runs and Rachin Ravindra’s 44 helped New Zealand reach 208/6 in 20 overs against India in the second T20I at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, Raipur. This total is New Zealand’s third-highest T20I score against India and the highest T20 score at this venue.

New Zealand’s new opening pair, Devon Conway and Tim Seifert, quickly scored 43 runs in just three overs before losing their wickets. Rachin Ravindra played a crucial role by adding 55 runs with Glenn Phillips, stabilizing New Zealand’s innings after early setbacks. Ravindra’s innings of 44 runs off 26 balls included two fours and four sixes.

Mitchell Santner took charge in the later overs, scoring an unbeaten 47 runs off 27 balls. His strong finish propelled New Zealand past the 200-run mark, capitalizing on favorable batting conditions. India’s bowlers struggled, with Arshdeep Singh conceding 53 runs without a wicket, while Kuldeep Yadav and Varun Chakaravarthy took three wickets collectively.
