NITI Aayog announced the launch of the Central Prabhari Officer (CPO) portal to enhance real-time governance and coordination among stakeholders. The platform, part of the Aspirational Districts and Blocks Programme, aims to expedite last-mile delivery. CEO Nidhi Chhibber highlighted the portal’s role in fostering a transparent and responsive governance ecosystem.
The CPO portal allows Central Prabhari Officers to submit field observations and recommendations in real-time via mobile devices. This data becomes instantly accessible to Districts for necessary actions and responses. State Planning Secretaries can oversee and coordinate implementation efforts based on these inputs.
Rohit Kumar, Additional Secretary at NITI Aayog, emphasized the significance of data-driven governance and the pivotal function of Central Prabhari Officers in providing on-ground insights. The CPO Portal, as an advanced digital platform, facilitates real-time data capture, communication streamlining, and prompt administrative responses at all governance levels.
Designed as a unified digital interface, the CPO portal bridges the gap between field observations and administrative actions. It offers structured monitoring, accountability, and instant visibility to enhance implementation efficiency and responsiveness in Aspirational Districts and Blocks.
