President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are set to participate in a special event in Rairangpur, Mayurbhanj district on June 20, commemorating the BJP-led Odisha government’s completion of two years in power. The Chief Minister’s Office confirmed the attendance of President Murmu and PM Modi, following an official statement released on Tuesday. The BJP’s historic victory in June 2024 marked the party’s first-ever governance in Odisha, securing an absolute majority in the Assembly elections and ending the 24-year rule of the Biju Janata Dal (BJD).
