Mounting frustration is evident among Ola Electric scooter owners due to issues with the company’s after-sales service. Users have been voicing complaints on social media platform X regarding significant delays in repairs, towing, and inspections, despite their vehicles being within warranty and covered by Ola Care+. For instance, a user from Noida shared that their Ola S1 Pro has been non-functional for three months without any repair or towing services provided.
The user expressed disappointment over the lack of action despite repeated follow-ups, leading them to contemplate legal measures. Another user reported that their Ola scooter has been idle for over 16 days, with no mechanic inspecting it despite a service ticket raised, deeming the delay as unacceptable. These grievances coincide with a decline in Ola Electric Mobility’s stock value on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The company’s shares closed at Rs 31.87, marking a 0.72% decrease. Over the past week, the stock has fallen by 3.42%, while in the last two weeks, it plummeted by 17.52%. Notably, the shares have experienced a significant drop of over 38% in the last three months and have halved in value over the past year. Year-to-date, the stock has declined by over 15%, reflecting ongoing investor apprehensions regarding the company’s financial performance and operational hurdles.
