The meeting of Opposition parties within the INDIA bloc concluded with a consensus on reshaping electoral and political strategies to combat the BJP-led NDA government. Key decisions were made to enhance their campaign, including addressing issues like Special Intensive Revision, paper leaks, unemployment, and economic concerns. The parties will address these issues by writing to the Chief Justice of India and intensifying demands for accountability.
The INDIA bloc also expressed concerns over recent NEET paper leaks and the education system’s mismanagement. Leaders called for the resignation of the Education Minister and sought justice for affected students. Additionally, they demanded an all-party meeting to discuss the country’s economic challenges, rising unemployment, inflation, and agricultural issues of public interest.
During the meeting, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge criticized the government’s economic and foreign policy decisions. The INDIA bloc aims to strengthen its alliance by holding regular meetings and coordinating strategies. Future plans include bi-monthly meetings and a coordination session during the Monsoon Session of Parliament to address public interest issues collectively.
