Musician Palash Sen recently returned to Pushkar after nearly twenty years, reminiscing about the town where the famous song “Raja Rani” was filmed. Upon setting foot in Pushkar, memories flooded back, evoking a sense of nostalgia. Sen shared a video from his visit, expressing his deep connection to the song and his band.
In the video, Sen described “Raja Rani” as a sweet story about relationships, emphasizing his lifelong focus on writing songs about man-woman relationships. He also revealed that Euphoria, his band, is unique for releasing a complete bhajan album, showcasing their diverse musical styles.
Sen raised concerns about the modern obsession with physical appearance in popular culture, stating that exaggerating women’s looks is neither respectful nor loving. He reiterated Euphoria’s theme of love, particularly unrequited love, believing that unfulfilled love deepens over time.
Reflecting on his memories in Pushkar, Sen fondly recalled moments with his sons during a concert there. He mentioned staying at the Pushkar Palace hotel, which has since evolved but still holds sentimental value for him, sparking nostalgia for Euphoria’s journey.
