A Patna court has decided to hold off on its decision regarding the bail requests of the security guards linked to educator and YouTuber Faisal Khan, also known as Khan Sir. Khan Sir’s lawyer, advocate Arvind Kumar Mahuar, mentioned that the court has postponed its ruling and will announce it the following day. Previously, Khan Sir had been granted temporary relief from arrest by a Patna court in connection with a recent incident at a coaching center.
The District Judge’s court in Patna revealed its decision after reviewing Khan Sir’s plea for anticipatory bail, which had been put on hold earlier. Despite not granting anticipatory bail yet, the court has instructed the police not to take any harsh actions against Khan Sir until further proceedings. Additionally, the court has requested the case diary and Khan Sir’s criminal background from the investigating authorities, with the next hearing scheduled for June 30.
Although the bail plea is still pending, the halt on arrest has brought significant relief to Khan Sir, who was facing the imminent threat of police action. An FIR was filed against Khan Sir, his two security guards in custody, and others involved in a disturbance at a coaching institute in Patna’s Kadamkuan area on June 2. Police sources revealed that the detained guards allegedly discharged their rifles under Faisal Khan’s instructions.
Following the incident, the police arrested Roshan Anand, the owner of Gyan Bindu Coaching Institute, who was later remanded to judicial custody. Anand’s bail plea had been rejected by a Patna court previously.
