PM Modi, Amit Shah Extend Greetings on Himachal Day

Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his wishes to the people on Himachal Day, celebrating the state’s establishment on April 15, 1948. The state, formed by merging 30 princely states, gained full statehood on January 25, 1971, becoming the 18th Indian state.

PM Modi highlighted Himachal’s rich traditions and cultural heritage, expressing hope for a prosperous future for its residents. Union Home Minister Amit Shah also conveyed his greetings, emphasizing the state’s natural beauty and cultural richness.

Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda praised Himachal’s natural beauty and rich culture, commending the residents for their dedication to development and prosperity. Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu expressed gratitude for the state’s progress and the public’s support in achieving self-reliance and prosperity.
