Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended their best wishes to the countrymen on the fourth day of Chaitra Navratri dedicated to Goddess Kushmanda. PM Modi expressed reverence to Maa Kushmanda, highlighting her courage and spiritual power. He emphasized the positive energy that devotion to the Mother brings to the hearts of devotees.

CM Yogi Adityanath prayed for happiness, prosperity, and good health for all devotees through the blessings of Maa Kushmanda, the fourth manifestation of Jagadamba. He described her as the embodiment of power and perfection, wishing for well-being throughout creation. Goddess Kushmanda, revered on the fourth day of Navratri, is depicted riding a lioness with eight arms holding various symbolic items.

In Hindu philosophy, Goddess Kushmanda is revered as the highest divinity of the solar system. It is believed that praying to her empowers devotees to overcome diseases, grief, and flaws. Devotees across the country flocked to temples to seek blessings on this auspicious day. Navratri, a Hindu festival celebrating Goddess Durga and her nine avatars, is observed with great devotion and rituals nationwide.
