Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticized the Congress party for labeling Sikh MP Ravneet Singh Bittu a ‘traitor,’ calling it disrespectful to the Sikh community. He questioned why the party did not show remorse for this incident in the House. Bittu, a three-time MP and current Union Minister of State for Railways, faced the slur from Rahul Gandhi outside Parliament.

PM Modi expressed disappointment over the derogatory remark towards the Sikh MP, emphasizing that such behavior is unacceptable. He remarked that those resorting to such actions would lead to the downfall of the Congress party. Shifting focus to Sadanand Master, an RS MP from Kerala, PM Modi praised his resilience and composure despite losing both legs due to political differences in the past.

Highlighting Sadanand Master’s inspiring character, PM Modi commended his dignified conduct despite facing immense challenges. He noted that figures like Sadanand Master serve as a source of motivation for the nation and the political sphere. The Prime Minister lauded Master’s contributions to policymaking and his dedication to serving the nation selflessly.

PM Modi criticized the Opposition for not showing proper respect to Sadanand Master during his first address in the House. He expressed disappointment that Master’s speech, delivered with grace despite his hardships, did not receive the recognition it deserved.
