These conversations aim to address the ongoing conflict in Iran and the Gulf region. Recently, PM Modi also discussed the evolving situation in West Asia with Jordan’s King Abdullah II, emphasizing the need for dialogue and diplomacy to restore peace and stability in the region.
In his discussions with French President Emmanuel Macron, PM Modi stressed the urgent need for de-escalation and a return to dialogue and diplomacy in West Asia. Additionally, PM Modi reaffirmed India’s condemnation of the recent violation of Oman’s sovereignty during a conversation with Oman’s Sultan Haitham bin Tariq. Both leaders agreed on the necessity of dialogue and diplomacy for de-escalation and the restoration of peace and stability.
