PM Modi lauded Uttarakhand for embracing the Uniform Civil Code and emphasized its significance for the country. The newly inaugurated Delhi-Dehradun Economic Corridor, a 210-km highway, is expected to reduce travel time between the two cities to 2.5 hours. This corridor will significantly cut down the distance and travel time between Delhi and Dehradun.
