Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized India’s progress in renewable energy, transport, and public infrastructure during the inauguration of projects worth Rs 19,806.9 crore in Vav-Tharad, Gujarat. He highlighted the significance of enhanced road and rail connectivity in stimulating business growth and attracting investments. PM Modi expressed his deep connection to the region, reminiscing about his past experiences and the support he received from the local community.
The Prime Minister acknowledged the pivotal role of young party workers in implementing government programs at the grassroots level. He reflected on his earlier responsibilities in Banaskantha and Vav-Tharad, underscoring his commitment to driving development in the region. PM Modi also mentioned the successful implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural) scheme, which has provided nearly 40,000 families with pucca houses in Gujarat.
Discussing water and agricultural challenges, PM Modi praised initiatives like Sujalam Sufalam for improving water distribution and farmer incomes. He highlighted the positive impact of these initiatives on regions like Vav-Tharad, Patan, Mehsana, and Banaskantha. The projects dedicated and initiated encompassed various sectors, including transport, energy infrastructure, railway enhancements, urban development, healthcare facilities, tourism enhancements, and water infrastructure projects.
