India, according to PM Modi, offers an open society with the world’s largest talent pool and simplified regulations for ease of doing business. The country provides targeted incentives exceeding $50 billion to support private enterprise from innovation to commercialization. PM Modi also pointed out India’s significant technological progress, including the widespread impact of its digital public infrastructure on people’s lives.
The Prime Minister showcased India’s technological prowess, citing achievements like the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) that facilitates half of the world’s real-time digital transactions. He emphasized the accessibility of technology through platforms like DigiLocker and PM Gati Shakti, enhancing service access and infrastructure planning. PM Modi stressed the importance of innovation benefiting all segments of society, underscoring the need for technology to be inclusive.
In his address, PM Modi highlighted the resilience and growth of India’s startup ecosystem, which now boasts over 200,000 startups, demonstrating the country’s vibrant entrepreneurial landscape.
