Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to explore ways to enhance their strategic partnership. They also addressed the regional situation and reiterated their joint commitment to combat terrorism.
During the conversation, PM Modi expressed pleasure in speaking with PM Netanyahu and discussed plans to bolster the India-Israel Strategic Partnership in the upcoming year. They also emphasized their shared determination to combat terrorism more effectively.
In a separate meeting, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met with Netanyahu in Jerusalem to convey warm regards from PM Modi. They deliberated on expanding cooperation between the two countries in various areas such as technology, economy, skills, connectivity, and security.
EAM Jaishankar also engaged with Israeli President Isaac Herzog to review the progress of the India-Israel strategic partnership and reaffirm India’s unwavering support for lasting peace in the region.
