Prime Minister Narendra Modi, speaking at a BJP rally in Palakkad, Kerala, highlighted the state’s potential for a political shift. He emphasized the growing support from Kerala’s youth and women towards the BJP-led NDA, attributing it to the people’s blessings. Modi praised Palakkad as a hub of natural beauty and cultural richness, paying homage to prominent social reformers and spiritual leaders who contributed to Kerala’s social fabric.

The Prime Minister criticized the state’s unemployment crisis and economic mismanagement, blaming the lack of industry development for youth unemployment. He accused both the LDF and UDF of misrule and vote-bank politics, pointing out Kerala’s significant debt and questioning its utilization. Modi noted the historical representation of Palakkad by Left and Congress MLAs, highlighting progress under BJP governance.

Asserting the NDA’s strong position in Kerala’s political landscape, Modi pledged to focus on the state’s development. He addressed allegations of corruption by the LDF and UDF, promising investigations under an NDA government. Modi reiterated his commitment to ushering in a new era of growth for Kerala, emphasizing the need for change in the state’s trajectory.
