Later today, Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to meet with President Macron in Mumbai for bilateral discussions. President Macron’s visit, at the invitation of PM Modi for the AI Impact Summit in India, marks his fourth visit to the country and his first official engagement in Mumbai. The leaders will convene a bilateral summit during the visit, focusing on reviewing the progress achieved under the India-France Strategic Partnership and exploring avenues for further collaboration in emerging sectors.
The bilateral talks between Prime Minister Modi and President Macron, set to take place at Lok Bhavan in Mumbai at approximately 3:15 p.m., will encompass a comprehensive assessment of the strategic partnership’s advancements. The discussions are expected to emphasize strengthening the strategic relationship and expanding cooperation into futuristic sectors, alongside exchanging views on key regional and global matters. Following the talks, at around 5:15 p.m., the leaders will jointly inaugurate the India-France Year of Innovation 2026, addressing an audience comprising business leaders, start-up founders, researchers, and innovators from both nations.
