Mohan Charan Majhi, a member of the Santal tribal community, was born in 1972 in Odisha’s Keonjhar district. He began his political journey as a sarpanch in 1997 and has since secured victory in the Keonjhar seat in the 2024 Assembly elections, subsequently becoming the Chief Minister of Odisha.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah also conveyed birthday wishes to the Odisha Chief Minister, commending Majhi for his commitment to public service and good governance in alignment with PM Modi’s vision. He prayed for Majhi’s enduring success and well-being.
