At the 19th Rozgar Mela, over 51,000 appointment letters were distributed to newly recruited youth in various government sectors and organizations. Since October 2023, PM Modi has handed out approximately 12 lakh appointment letters through the ongoing Rozgar Mela program, marking one of the largest government recruitment drives during his tenure. International entities view India as a potential manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain hub, offering an alternative or supplementary option to China. The country’s sustained growth targets, infrastructure development, and business-friendly reforms attract global institutions and investors seeking to enhance their presence in India.
Partnerships with India are sought for geopolitical equilibrium, regional connectivity, security alliances, access to technology, IT expertise, and defense industry cooperation. Foreign direct investments and joint ventures are avenues through which multinational corporations establish their presence in India to tap into local demand and talent.
India’s engagement in bilateral trade agreements, market access negotiations, and collaborations in various sectors like renewable energy and climate finance further solidify its global ties. Mutual cooperation in tourism, education, diaspora investments, and renewable energy projects not only strengthen commercial relations but also foster cultural exchanges.
