Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initial actions from the new office ‘Seva Teerth’ prioritize serving citizens, especially the vulnerable. He approved four key projects aimed at benefiting Lakhpati Didis, farmers, and youth. These initiatives include the PM RAHAT scheme, doubling the target of Lakhpati Didis to six crore, increasing the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund to Rs 2 lakh crore, and launching a Startup India fund with a Rs 10,000 crore allocation.
The decisions made at the Seva Teerth office will impact various sectors of society, with a significant focus on farmers, women, youth, and marginalized communities. The PM RAHAT Scheme, one of the projects approved, will provide immediate medical assistance to road accident victims with cashless treatment of up to Rs 1.5 lakh. Additionally, PM Modi aims to raise six crore Lakhpati Didis by March 2029, emphasizing the empowerment of women.
Furthermore, PM Modi sanctioned the doubling of the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund to Rs 2 lakh crore to bolster India’s agricultural value chain. He also greenlit the Startup India Fund FoF 2.0, allocating Rs 10,000 crore to foster innovation in deep tech, early-stage ideas, advanced manufacturing, and breakthrough technologies. The new ‘Seva Teerth’ complex, housing the PMO, NSCS, and Cabinet Secretariat, signifies a significant shift in governance, transitioning to a modern facility on Kartavya Path.
