In a significant development during a special operation against proclaimed offenders, the Hauz Qazi Police Station team in Delhi apprehended a notorious criminal who was evading the law in a theft case. The arrested individual, Babloo alias Narendra alias Prem, a resident of Multani Dhanda in Paharganj, had been absconding to avoid facing legal consequences. He had been declared a proclaimed offender in a theft case under Sections 379/411 of the IPC at Rajender Nagar Police Station.
The accused, who had been dodging court proceedings, was finally captured after extensive technical surveillance and intelligence efforts by the police team. Babloo alias Narendra alias Prem, aged around 45 years, has a long history of criminal activities spanning several decades, including theft, robbery, possession of illegal arms, assault, and cheating. He has been involved in multiple cases across various police stations in Delhi, facing charges under different sections of the IPC, Arms Act, and other laws.
Despite previous arrests and legal actions, the accused continued his criminal activities, frequently changing locations to evade capture and court appearances. The recent arrest is considered a significant achievement by the Central Delhi Police, highlighting their dedication to apprehending proclaimed offenders and habitual criminals in the city. Legal proceedings regarding the case are currently ongoing.
