Police in New South Wales are actively searching for a man accused of killing three individuals in a domestic violence-related shooting. The incident occurred in Lake Cargelligo, with tactical officers and police helicopters deployed for a large-scale manhunt. The suspect, identified as 37-year-old Julian Ingram, is being pursued following the shooting that took place on Thursday.
The NSW Police Force confirmed that a 25-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man were fatally shot in a vehicle. Additionally, a 50-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man were shot in the driveway of a nearby property. Tragically, the woman passed away at the scene, while the man was hospitalized in a serious but stable condition. Reports indicated that the 25-year-old female victim was Ingram’s former partner and was pregnant.
Authorities have advised residents in the area to stay indoors, away from windows, and to contact emergency services if they notice anything suspicious. The police have established a crime scene and are urging the public to avoid the area while encouraging local residents to remain indoors for their safety.
In a separate incident on January 18, a man in New South Wales was seriously injured in a public place shooting in Sydney’s west. Emergency services responded to reports of gunshots fired into a home in Lalor Park, hitting a 46-year-old resident. The victim received medical treatment for a gunshot wound and is currently in stable condition at the hospital.
