In Rajasthan’s Nagaur, the Police conducted a successful raid under ‘Operation Neelkanth’ and seized MD (mephedrone) valued at Rs 1.35 crore. The operation, led by Superintendent of Police Mridul Kachhawa, was carried out by the Khinvsar police station and the District Special Team (DST).
Acting on confidential information, the police targeted Shravanram Bishnoi, suspected of running a large drug network from his residence in Panchlasiddha village. Despite the main accused fleeing upon police arrival, authorities discovered 670 grams of illegal MD drugs hidden in a secret chamber beneath the bathroom floor.
Alongside the drugs, the police confiscated Rs 11.23 lakh in cash believed to be linked to drug trafficking profits. Additionally, two diaries containing hawala transaction records worth crores were found, suggesting a broader financial network involvement. The accused’s wife, Pooja Bishnoi (23), was arrested during the raid.
Multiple police teams are now working to locate and apprehend the main accused, with the investigation ongoing. The successful operation was credited to the efforts of various police personnel, including Khinvsar Station House Officer Ramnarayan Bhanwariya and the Nagaur DST team.
