Political tensions heightened in Jaipur as the ruling BJP and Opposition Congress geared up for rival protests, leading to a heavy police presence. The BJP organized a march to the Congress office, accusing Rahul Gandhi of breaching decorum during a protest in Delhi. Police used water cannons to disperse the BJP protesters as they tried to advance.

The Congress dismissed the BJP’s protest as a “sham” and announced a counter-march to the BJP’s state headquarters. BJP supporters across Jaipur protested against the events in Delhi, with police intervening to prevent clashes. BJP leaders criticized Rahul Gandhi for undermining democratic institutions.

Following the BJP’s demonstration, the Congress criticized both the BJP and the central government. The Congress planned to march to the BJP state headquarters in response. Security measures were intensified in Jaipur as both parties announced plans to march to each other’s offices, with police deploying riot-control vehicles and drones for surveillance.
