Pooja Hegde and Allu Arjun marked the sixth anniversary of their hit movie “Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo” on Monday. Pooja shared a video on Instagram recalling the popular song “Butta Bomma” from the film. Fans loved the chemistry between Pooja and Allu Arjun in the movie, making it one of the highest-grossing Telugu films ever.
The film, directed by Trivikram Srinivas, also featured Jayaram, Tabu, and other talented actors in key roles. “Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo” tells the story of Bantu, a young man whose life takes a dramatic turn when he discovers he was swapped at birth. The movie was a massive success, becoming the top-grossing Telugu film of 2020 and the second-highest-grossing Indian film of the year.
Apart from this milestone, Pooja Hegde is set to star in the upcoming romantic comedy “Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai” alongside Varun Dhawan. Directed by David Dhawan, the film is scheduled for release on June 5th. Pooja’s busy schedule also includes projects like #DQ41 with Dulquer Salmaan and “Kanchana 4” with Raghava Lawrence.
