The poster for the upcoming movie ‘Kaala Hiran’, inspired by the blackbuck poaching incident involving Bollywood star Salman Khan, was revealed on Friday. This film combines elements of courtroom drama and crime thriller, depicting the well-known feud between Salman Khan and the infamous gangster Lawrence Bishnoi in a cinematic manner. Shot in various cities of Uttar Pradesh such as Sambhal and Moradabad, the movie captures the essence of the events surrounding the blackbuck hunting case.
Producer Amti Jani shared insights about the film, stating that it portrays the courtroom drama, crime, and rivalry between Salman Khan and Lawrence Bishnoi that unfolded in 1998 in Kakani village, Jodhpur. The movie showcases the sequence of events in a dramatic manner, with scenes shot in Sambal, Moradabad, and other locations in Uttar Pradesh. The film also features Bollywood actors like Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre, and Satish Shah, who were present during the shooting in Jodhpur.
The narrative of ‘Kaala Hiran’ delves into the aftermath of the blackbuck hunting incident, where Lawrence Bishnoi seeks retribution for the sacred animal’s illegal killing, revered by the Bishnoi community. Bishnoi has been targeting individuals close to Salman Khan, as seen in the 2024 attack on politician Baba Siddique, a Salman Khan associate, near his residence in Mumbai’s Bandra area. Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang claimed responsibility for the assault, highlighting the ongoing vendetta against those associated with the superstar.
