Actor Prateik Babbar recently took to social media to remember his late mother, actress Smita Patil. In a heartfelt post, he shared a collage of pictures showing their striking resemblance.
The post included a throwback image of Smita exuding grace and boldness, alongside a portrait of Prateik in a similar pose. Prateik captioned the post with, “got it from my mf’n mama.”
Prateik, born just weeks before Smita’s tragic passing in 1986, often speaks about his complex relationship with his father, veteran actor-politician Raj Babbar. Raised mostly by his maternal family, Prateik has shared the emotional challenges of growing up without his mother.
Raj Babbar, who was married to Nadira Babbar when he fell in love with Smita, has also expressed his emotions for his late wife on significant occasions, like Smita Patil’s death anniversary.
