Preity Zinta and Punjab Kings Co-Owner, along with opener Priyansh Arya, connected with Krishan Chand, a 62-year-old spectator injured during a cricket match, to check on his recovery. The incident happened when a ball hit by Arya struck Chand on the face, causing bleeding. Chand received medical attention and stitches for his injury.
Krishan Chand, now in stable condition, received a personal invitation from Punjab Kings to attend a future match at Dharamshala. Preity Zinta assured him of a helmet for added safety during his next stadium visit. The team expressed their concern for Chand’s well-being, with the General Manager also joining the call to show support.
Punjab Kings conveyed their best wishes for Krishan Chand’s speedy recovery and eagerly anticipate his presence at Dharamshala soon. The team, currently performing well in the season, is positioned at the top of the standings with just one loss in eight games. They are set to face Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
