President Droupadi Murmu visited Jaipur for a day to attend the 1008-Kundiya Hanuman Mahayagya and Shri Ram Katha at the Neendar residential scheme on Sikar Road. The visit combined constitutional duties with spiritual engagements, attracting senior state officials and spiritual leaders.
Upon her arrival at Jaipur International Airport, Governor Haribhau Kisanrao Bagde greeted President Murmu with a bouquet of flowers. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and other dignitaries also welcomed her at the airport. Deputy Chief Ministers, MPs, and senior officers were among those present.
President Murmu participated in the closing rituals of the Mahayagya at the Neendar Housing Scheme, offering prayers for the nation’s well-being. The event, led by Jagadguru Swami Rambhadracharya Ji Maharaj, featured Vedic chants and sacred rituals. The President, along with the Governor and Chief Minister, showed reverence by circumambulating the yagyashala.
During the ceremonies, President Murmu paid her respects to Jagadguru Swami Rambhadracharya Ji for his spiritual guidance. The Mahayagya and Shri Ram Katha attracted numerous devotees and dignitaries. The visit highlighted the harmony between India’s spiritual traditions and constitutional principles, leaving a positive impact on attendees before the President’s departure.
