She stressed the importance of harmony between body and mind for true wellness, advocating preventive and holistic healthcare to reduce disease burden and promote long-term health. The ‘National Arogya Fair 2026’ in Maharashtra, organized by the Ministry of Ayush and the All India Ayurvedic Congress, aims to showcase the contributions of various traditional healthcare systems like Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, Sowa-Rigpa, and Homoeopathy in guiding society towards balanced living.
President Murmu also underlined India’s rich heritage of medicinal plants and traditional knowledge, urging for the conservation and scientific cultivation of medicinal plants to support sustainable healthcare and protect the environment.
