President Droupadi Murmu conveyed warm wishes to all Indians ahead of Lohri, Makar Sankranti, Pongal, and Magh Bihu, highlighting the significance of these festivals in celebrating agricultural traditions and cultural diversity. She emphasized the role of farmers in nourishing the nation and called for unity and prosperity.

Prime Minister Modi commemorated Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary, designated as National Youth Day, recognizing the inspirational impact of Vivekananda’s teachings on the youth. Modi urged the younger generation to embody Vivekananda’s ideals of fearlessness, selflessness, and ambition, emphasizing their pivotal role in shaping the nation’s future.

Swami Vivekananda, born on January 12, 1863, in Kolkata, is renowned for introducing Indian philosophies to the West and advocating for social reform and unity. His legacy continues to inspire interfaith dialogue and humanitarian service, symbolizing a beacon of hope for the youth.
