President Donald Trump claimed that the United States is currently undergoing its most robust economic expansion ever, pointing to significant investment, manufacturing growth, and job generation as indicators of his administration’s impact on the country’s industrial sector.
During a press conference following the NATO summit in Ankara, Trump asserted that America had regained its economic strength and global reputation, stating, “It was clear that America is back and we’re stronger and bigger and better than ever before.”
Trump emphasized the unprecedented levels of investment by businesses in new factories and production facilities across various strategic industries, highlighting major companies like Eli Lilly, Merck, and car manufacturers for their contributions to this growth.
Additionally, Trump mentioned the rapid development of artificial intelligence infrastructure in the US, noting that the country leads China in this sector and that the increased manufacturing activity has led to a surge in employment, with the highest number of jobs in US history.
The President also praised the expansion of the American defense industry, attributing it to the increased military procurement by NATO allies and the superior quality of American-made equipment, with major defense manufacturers ramping up production to meet the rising demand.
Trump further discussed new investments in heavy industry, revealing plans for the construction of what he described as the world’s largest aluminum plant in Oklahoma, underscoring his administration’s focus on economic growth, manufacturing, and industrial revitalization.
