PM Modi stressed that Somnath Dham has been instrumental in awakening people’s consciousness for centuries, symbolizing unwavering faith and inner strength. He shared a Sanskrit verse underscoring the spiritual essence of Somnath and its connection with Lord Shiva, portraying it as a place of spiritual perfection and liberation.
Ahead of his upcoming visit to Somnath, PM Modi reminisced about his previous visits and the resilience of faith despite historical attacks on the temple. He mentioned the Somnath Swabhiman Parv, commemorating 1,000 years since the first major attack on the temple in 1026, highlighting India’s cultural unity and the temple’s repeated reconstruction after invasions.
