Prime Minister Narendra Modi kicked off the ‘Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference: Saurashtra-Kutch’ at Marwadi University, Rajkot, emphasizing the vision of ‘Viksit Gujarat to Viksit Bharat’ and the theme of “Regional Aspirations with Global Ambition.” Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and other dignitaries witnessed the industrial prowess of the Saurashtra-Kutch Region.
The Prime Minister explored the 18,000 square meters exhibition, acknowledging the contributions of key organizations like Hindustan Aeronautics Limited and Essar at the ‘Enterprise Excellence Pavilion.’ He praised Gujarat’s industrial growth and technological advancements. Additionally, he showed interest in the ‘Ocean of Opportunities’ Pavilion, focusing on the coastal regions’ potential.
The exhibition featured presentations on the blue economy by the Gujarat Maritime Board and innovative technologies from companies like Reliance New Energy. It highlighted the importance of balancing industrial growth with environmental sustainability. An MSME Pavilion promoting local arts and small-scale industries under the theme ‘Har Ghar Swadeshi’ was also part of the event.
Prime Minister Modi visited the MSME Pavilion to appreciate rural artisans’ handicrafts and Swadeshi Haats, leaving his remarks in the visitor’s book. The exhibition, scheduled until January 15, aims to offer an educational experience and propel the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat @ 2047.’
