Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Ajmer in Rajasthan on Saturday to lay the foundation stone for various development projects totaling over Rs 16,680 crore. These projects cover sectors like urban development, water supply, road infrastructure, irrigation, energy, and industrial development, aiming to boost Rajasthan’s growth and enhance the quality of life.
During the visit, the Prime Minister will address a public gathering. One significant initiative includes launching a nationwide campaign for Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination for girls aged 14 years and above to prevent cervical cancer, emphasizing preventive healthcare and women’s well-being.
To improve road infrastructure and connectivity, PM Modi will inaugurate several National Highway projects, such as the Greenfield Expressway from Bandikui to Jaipur, the Amritsar-Jamnagar Economic Corridor, and the Delhi-Vadodara Access Controlled Greenfield Expressway. Additionally, he will lay the foundation stone for projects like a four-lane elevated road in Jodhpur city and the Malbamori–Mangrol–Baran State Highway in Baran district.
Furthermore, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for drinking water projects like the Nonera Major Drinking Water Project and the Parwan Akawad Major Drinking Water Project, focusing on providing safe and clean drinking water to multiple districts in Rajasthan. He will also inaugurate key transmission systems to enhance renewable energy transmission from Rajasthan’s Renewable Energy Zones (REZs).
In a move to empower youth and generate employment, PM Modi will distribute over 21,800 appointment letters to newly recruited youth in various government departments and organizations in Rajasthan.
