Amit Jani, the producer of ‘Kala Hiran,’ reported a second death threat within 24 hours of informing the police about the initial threat. He shared a picture of the complaint letter and stated that an unknown caller threatened to kill him within three days. Jani urged the authorities to take immediate action and apprehend the individual making the threats.
In his complaint to the Jodhpur police, Jani detailed the threatening call he received, which was recorded for evidence. The caller, claiming to be a fan of actor Salman Khan, vowed to murder Jani within the next three days. Jani emphasized the urgency of the situation, highlighting that this was the second death threat he had received in a short span of time.
Jani expressed concern that the caller could be associated with terrorist Shahzad Brahmadag Bugti and requested swift action from the police. He emphasized the gravity of the threats and the need for prompt intervention to ensure his safety. Jani reiterated his plea for the authorities to arrest the individual responsible for the threats and initiate legal proceedings based on his complaint.
The producer had previously disclosed receiving threats from a “Pakistani terrorist” in connection with the film and Salman Khan. Jani highlighted the pressure he faced due to the movie’s content and alleged interference from the Bollywood star. He underscored his resolve to release ‘Kala Hiran’ despite the challenges and threats he encountered.
