Punjab BJP President Kewal Singh Dhillon praised India’s global leadership in digital transactions achieved during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tenure. On the occasion of PM Modi’s 12 years of service, Dhillon offered prayers for the Prime Minister’s well-being and success. He credited PM Modi’s governance for elevating India’s infrastructure with highways, expressways, airports, and modernized railways, including high-speed trains like the Vande Bharat Express.
Dhillon emphasized India’s emergence as a digital transactions leader through enhanced internet connectivity and digital services reaching remote areas. He highlighted government initiatives like the Kartarpur Corridor development, GST exemption for langar services, and the formation of a Special Investigation Team for 1984 anti-Sikh riots cases. Dhillon also mentioned the annual Veer Bal Diwas in honor of Sahibzadas Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh.
Additionally, Dhillon commended the celebrations of Guru Nanak Dev’s 550th Prakash Purab, Guru Gobind Singh’s 350th Prakash Purab, and Guru Tegh Bahadur’s 400th Prakash Purab at national and international levels. He noted the positive impact of welfare schemes like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, and Ayushman Bharat on millions of underprivileged families. Dhillon expressed confidence in India’s continued developmental progress under PM Modi’s leadership.
