On the occasion of Maghi, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann visited Gurdwara Sri Tuti Gandi Sahib in Muktsar, addressing a gathering and emphasizing the recovery of 169 missing ‘saroops’ of Sri Guru Granth Sahib. He reiterated the government’s commitment to this cause, stating it as a duty rather than an achievement.
During a political conference, CM Mann assured that his government has fulfilled all promises made to the people of Punjab. He announced a forthcoming budgetary provision for a monthly assistance scheme of Rs 1,000 for women, emphasizing the government’s dedication to the welfare of all citizens.
Reflecting on the historical significance of the site, CM Mann highlighted the sacrifices made by Sikh warriors and the importance of standing against injustice and oppression. He criticized opposition parties for their alleged intentions to exploit Punjab post-elections and emphasized the need for clean governance.
Stressing the importance of empowering youth and ensuring transparent governance, the Chief Minister emphasized the government’s focus on benefiting the common man and the state. He highlighted the creation of job opportunities for over 63,000 youth based on merit and reiterated the government’s commitment to the progress and prosperity of Punjab.
