Bollywood actor R. Madhavan, known for his role as IB director Ajay Sanyal in “Dhurandhar,” recently disclosed an intriguing incident from the film’s shoot. Director Aditya had envisioned a sunny day for the opening shot, but nature had other plans, bringing unexpected rain to the scene. Despite the change in weather, Madhavan embraced the moment, capturing the beauty of Leh and Ladakh in the rain.
Madhavan, through an Instagram post, shared a video showcasing the altered setting of the scene due to the rain. He humorously mentioned his knack for attracting rain on set, earning him the nickname “RAINMAN.” The unexpected weather, though different from the original plan, added a unique charm to the film’s visuals, aligning with a bigger design at play.
“Dhurandhar,” featuring stars like Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, and Arjun Rampal, is the first part of a two-film series focusing on a high-stakes covert counter-terrorism mission. The storyline revolves around an Indian intelligence agent infiltrating criminal networks in Karachi and political structures in Pakistan to thwart a terror plot targeting India. Inspired by real-life events in South Asia, the film draws from incidents like the IC-814 hijacking, the Indian Parliament attack, the Mumbai attacks, and Pakistan’s Operation Lyari.
