Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, is set to visit Vadodara on March 23 to participate in the ‘Adivasi Samvidhan Adhikar Sammelan’, a tribal rights gathering. The event, scheduled from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., will see the presence of tribal community members from central and eastern Gujarat.
Rajendrakumar Parghi, chairperson of the Adivasi Congress of the Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC), confirmed Gandhi’s one-day visit to Vadodara. He mentioned that many people are expected to attend the program during Gandhi’s visit.
Additionally, sources indicated that the detailed schedule for the visit will be disclosed at a press conference by GPCC president Amit Chavda. Gandhi is also anticipated to meet with the state party’s core leadership to assess the readiness for the upcoming local body elections and by-elections.
