Rahul Gandhi to Campaign in Tamil Nadu Ahead of Assembly Elections

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is scheduled for a one-day campaign tour in Tamil Nadu on April 18. He will depart from Delhi at 8.30 a.m. and arrive in Chennai at 11.10 a.m. Gandhi will then travel to Ponneri in Tiruvallur district by helicopter for a public rally in support of Congress candidate Duraichandrasekar.

After Ponneri, he will head to the Sholingur Assembly constituency in Ranipet district for another campaign event. Gandhi will return to Chennai by helicopter around 2.30 p.m. and then fly to Tiruchirappalli at 3 p.m. to campaign for Congress candidate M. Lenin Prasad in the Thuraiyur Assembly constituency.

Following his engagements in central Tamil Nadu, Gandhi will depart for Delhi at 5.40 p.m., arriving at 8.20 p.m. The visit aims to boost Congress’ presence in key constituencies ahead of the elections.
