Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma shared the state’s development plans at the NITI Aayog Governing Council meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Emphasizing the goal of ‘Viksit Bharat-2047’, Sharma detailed Rajasthan’s strategy for economic growth through youth, investment, agriculture, women’s empowerment, and good governance.
Underlining alignment with PM Modi’s vision, Sharma highlighted Rajasthan’s focus on youth, farmers, and women in policy initiatives. With a significant youth population, the state aims to boost industrial growth through investor-friendly policies and substantial investment agreements.
Sharma set a target for Rajasthan to become a $350-billion economy by 2029, supported by current economic growth. The state’s initiatives, including skill development programs and employment policies, align with national schemes to enhance opportunities for youth and entrepreneurs.
