Opting to field first, Rajasthan restricted Himachal to 164/8 in 20 overs, with Vijay Kumar scoring 104 runs.
Despite Vijay Kumar’s efforts, Rajasthan’s bowlers, led by Lalit Meena and Murari Lal, kept Himachal in check. In response, Rajasthan’s openers Nikhil Maharshi and Rohitash cruised to victory in just 14.4 overs, with Nikhil scoring 65 off 46 balls and Rohitash smashing 86 off 47 balls, sealing the win without losing a wicket.
Nikhil Maharshi’s stellar performance earned him the Player of the Match title for his significant contributions to Rajasthan’s triumph. In another league match, Kerala also shone brightly, defeating Maharashtra by nine wickets. Maharashtra, batting first, managed only 109 runs, with Kerala’s bowlers, including Sayanth K.B. and Jayakrishnan, impressively restricting their opponents.
Kerala chased down the target in just 10 overs, with Sayanth K.B. scoring 48 runs and Snehith contributing an unbeaten 31 runs. Captain Arjun P. guided Kerala to victory with a composed innings, losing only one wicket in the process. Sayanth K.B. was recognized as the Player of the Match for his exceptional all-round display.
