Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma led a meeting of the BJP Legislative Party at his residence to prepare for the upcoming Budget Session. Discussions focused on floor management, with MLAs urged to actively represent the government’s stance in the House. The Budget Session, starting the next day, holds significant importance as the state government plans to introduce a budget aligning with public expectations for Rajasthan’s progress.
Sharma emphasized the need for MLAs to showcase the government’s achievements during the two-year tenure in the upcoming session. He stressed the importance of MLAs’ presence in the House, understanding of Assembly rules, and effective communication of the government’s positions. Ministers were instructed to respond firmly to opposition queries, countering baseless allegations with factual rebuttals.
The Chief Minister highlighted the government’s accomplishments, citing reforms and advancements made in various sectors within two years. Notable initiatives include the Ram Jal Setu project, Yamuna water agreement, and improved electricity supply to farmers. Sharma also mentioned the creation of government jobs, ongoing recruitment drives, and swift implementation of budget promises. Projects worth Rs 8 lakh crore from the Rising Rajasthan Summit have already been executed, reflecting positive feedback from farmers, youth, and other segments of society.
