Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma criticized the opposition for turning a significant day into a negative one for women due to their actions against the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam amendment. He expressed confidence in Prime Minister Modi’s commitment to ensuring women receive their entitled rights. Addressing a gathering during the Mahila Jan Akrosh Yatra in Jaipur, CM Sharma highlighted the importance of women in Indian culture and the government’s efforts to empower them.

The Chief Minister emphasized the BJP government’s initiative to strengthen women’s role in policymaking through the legislation introduced in Parliament. He condemned the Congress, Trinamool Congress, and Samajwadi Party for obstructing the amendment’s passage, accusing them of undermining women’s rights. CM Sharma also criticized the Congress for opposing key national initiatives and questioning the armed forces’ actions.

CM Sharma underscored the government’s dedication to women’s empowerment under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, citing various schemes like Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao and Ujjwala Yojana. He stressed the necessity of women’s active involvement in leadership and policymaking for the development of India and Rajasthan. Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari also condemned the opposition’s actions, promising a strong response from women.

The rally, attended by leaders like Minister of State Manju Baghmar and MP Manju Sharma, aimed to deliver a strong message to anti-women political parties. BJP Mahila Morcha State President Rakhi Rathore and numerous women and party workers participated in the event.
