Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma highlighted the significance of the Somnath Temple as a symbol of India’s ancient culture and national pride. Despite facing repeated attacks by foreign invaders, the temple has been rebuilt with greater splendor each time, showcasing the resilience of Indian civilization.
Speaking at the “Somnath Swabhiman Parv” event, the Chief Minister stressed the collective responsibility of society to preserve India’s rich heritage and values for future generations. He urged the youth to embrace Indian cultural traditions and contribute to building a strong and self-reliant nation.
During the event, the Chief Minister participated in the “Somnath Amrit Mahotsav” celebrations at the Somnath Temple in Gujarat via video conferencing. He listened to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address and highlighted the temple’s spiritual significance as a major center for devotees.
Prime Minister Modi, commemorating 75 years since the temple’s reconstruction, visited the Somnath Temple in Gujarat. He performed rituals, prayed for the nation’s prosperity, and emphasized the temple’s historical importance as a symbol of India’s self-respect and cultural continuity.
Chief Minister Sharma praised the temple’s reconstruction as a testament to the enduring spirit of India’s culture. He also mentioned various initiatives undertaken by the Rajasthan government to promote spiritual development and religious tourism in the state.
