Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari commended the Union Budget 2026–27, stating it aims to bolster the vision of a developed India. The Deputy CM lauded the budget as visionary, attributing India’s progress towards self-reliance, technological advancement, and global competitiveness to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. She underscored the budget’s alignment with the philosophy of collective nation-building, emphasizing inclusivity and social empowerment. Diya Kumari praised the budget’s attention to critical sectors like education, healthcare, industry, and infrastructure, along with its priority on farmer welfare and women’s empowerment. She highlighted these strategic areas as vital for India’s transformation into a developed nation by 2047. The Deputy CM also pointed out the budget’s provisions aimed at enhancing citizens’ quality of life, strengthening social security, and expanding essential services in both urban and rural regions.
Emphasizing initiatives for employment and youth, Kumari noted the budget’s strong push for job creation, skill development, and support for startups to provide new opportunities for the youth. She highlighted the budget’s agricultural and rural development measures, designed to boost farmers’ incomes and fortify the rural economy, which she described as the nation’s backbone. Additionally, she praised the budget’s forward-looking approach by promoting Digital India, artificial intelligence, innovation, and technological advancement to position India as a globally competitive economy while ensuring sustainable and inclusive growth.
Kumari further mentioned the increased investments in healthcare and welfare schemes as a testament to the government’s dedication to fostering a healthy, empowered, and capable society.
