In response to reports of deteriorating health among the postpartum women at the hospital, Medical and Health Minister Gajendra Singh Khimsar has instructed immediate action and a thorough inquiry into the situation. A team of four specialist doctors from Sawai Man Singh Medical College in Jaipur has been dispatched to Kota to aid in the treatment and assessment of the affected patients.
The expert team comprises professionals from the fields of anaesthesia, medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, and nephrology. These specialists will not only assist in the ongoing treatment but also examine the circumstances that led to the incident. The affected women have been admitted to the Super Speciality Hospital in Kota for advanced treatment under specialist care.
Gayatri Rathore, Principal Secretary of Medical Education, has confirmed that the patients are under constant monitoring at the hospital, receiving necessary medical attention. The Rajasthan government has initiated a comprehensive and time-bound inquiry to determine the root cause of the incident, emphasizing transparency and accountability throughout the investigation process.
Authorities have vowed to take strict action against any individual found culpable of negligence or lapses in treatment, following established protocols.
