Emphasizing the significance of faith-based infrastructure, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma stated that the state government is focusing on enhancing pilgrimage sites in Rajasthan. He highlighted the essential role of Dharma in all aspects of life, including governance and public service.
Addressing the Purnahuti and Prana Pratishtha ceremonies at Kanana Shri Math in Balotra, Sharma stressed that success can only be attained by following the path of righteousness. He mentioned that religious events like these contribute to social harmony and help connect the youth with their cultural roots.
Sharma also acknowledged the religious importance of Balotra, noting that its pilgrimage sites uphold the state’s traditions. He praised the spiritual ambiance of Kanana Math and commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts in transforming India’s cultural and religious landscape.
Under various schemes like Varishth Nagarik Teerth Yatra Yojana and Mukhyamantri Vikasit Gram evam Ward Yojana, the government is facilitating free pilgrimage opportunities for senior citizens and supporting the systematic development of religious sites across Rajasthan. Minister for Devasthan Joraram Kumawat highlighted the state’s promotion of Sanatan traditions and cultural heritage.
Mahant Parashuram Giri Maharaj lauded the government’s welfare initiatives and emphasized the importance of religious gatherings in preserving Sanatan culture and promoting global peace. The event witnessed the Chief Minister performing rituals and receiving honors, with the presence of dignitaries, saints, and devotees.
