Rajasthan stands out as a leading state in India, offering students the opportunity for complete schooling from primary to senior secondary levels within a single institution. This achievement, highlighted in the recent NITI Aayog report titled ‘School Education System in India – Temporal Analysis and Policy Road map for Quality Enhancement,’ showcases the state’s progress. The report indicates that only 5.4% of schools nationwide provided integrated schooling from Class 1 to 12 in 2024–25, with Rajasthan contributing nearly 35% to this figure.

The state hosts 27,889 schools that offer continuous education from primary to senior secondary levels, emphasizing the significance of integrated schooling. In contrast to the common practice of students switching between multiple institutions for education, Rajasthan’s model promotes educational stability. By reducing institutional transitions, the state’s approach aims to enhance learning outcomes and retention rates, as noted by the NITI Aayog report. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma’s leadership has been instrumental in positioning Rajasthan as a center for educational advancement.

Efforts led by the state government focus on the ongoing development, expansion, and enhancement of educational infrastructure to bolster the learning environment throughout Rajasthan. The state’s commitment to providing a seamless educational journey for students underscores its dedication to fostering a conducive learning atmosphere.
